Laboratory Specimen Processing / Data Entry – Full Time Job at Omega Laboratories, Inc.
Omega Laboratories is the global leader in specialty drugs of abuse testing, rapid alcohol testing, software solutions for clinical and forensic operations, and laboratory licensing opportunities designed to meet the unique needs and demands of programs and organizations around the globe. We are currently hiring for the position of Laboratory Specimen Processing / Data Entry at the global headquarters located in Mogadore, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and sort hair and saliva samples from various couriers into the appropriate test categories.
- Accession and label samples with a high level of attention to detail, maintaining chain of custody.
- Prepare hair samples for testing by measuring, cutting, weighing, and pulverizing hair.
- Perform data entry of sample information into LIS.
- Review chains of custody against data entered into LIS for accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance throughout processing.
- Clean and maintain working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fast paced
- Basic laboratory knowledge is helpful
- Must pass a hair drug test
Details:
- Full Time- M–F, 9:30am – 6pm, shift time is subject to change depending on the business needs
