EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a full time Laboratory Technician in its Microbiology department for its Indianapolis, IN lab location. This position offers the chance to work for a stable company, a great team, and provides the opportunity to grow within. This will be a support role to the laboratory and the technician will assist with the preparation of samples for the Environmental Microbiology department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare environmental samples prior to analysis- will train.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Assist with laboratory organization, supply inventory, calibrations, and cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment- will train.
Cross train and/or assist in other departments if needed to meet business demands.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements:
Minimum requirement is High School diploma or equivalent.
Candidate must be able to distinguish colors in order to perform analysis.
Must be willing and able to stand for various lengths of time.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills.

Available Shift:
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
