Intrepid Powerboats manufacturers high quality semi-custom boats from 24’ – 48’. We are a 30+ year stable company with extensive demand for boats within our iconic brand. We are looking for a Lamination Tech to join our TEAM at the main production facility located in Largo, Florida. What to Expect:

Your primary duties include the quality and quantity of work, following proper safety procedures, and the proper use of equipment and tools used in the Lamination process.

What You’ll Do:

Including but not limited to the following:

• Requires the operation of various hand tools and power equipment including the following:
• Resin distribution machinery, adhesive applicators and vacuum pumps
• Scissors and razor knives
• Jigsaws and band saws, sanders and grinders
• Ridge rollers, squeegees and other lamination tools

• Responsible with pulling cured parts from molds as needed.
• Safe work practices with all machinery, materials and chemicals used daily
• Performs daily and regular cleaning
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Knowledge of Resins, catalyst, adhesives, solvents and other required chemicals.
• Knowledge of composites materials such as; fiberglass styles and core materials
• Knowledge of fabrication machinery and best practices techniques
• Ability to follow directions and knowledge to ask questions when in doubt
• Ability to work safely as well as safe practices for others working around you

While performing the duties of this job:

• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: and talk and hear.
• Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to 10 hours per day
• Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
• Will exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push or pull on a regular basis
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
