Landscape Construction Crew Leader/Foreman Job at Southern Botanical
Southern Botanical is looking for a Landscape Construction Crew Leader who is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of landscape construction to include operating equipment, demolition, site and soil prep, grading, planting all materials, interfacing with customers, subcontractors, architects, etc. As a crew leader you will require minimal supervision while directing a crew of two to four employees in a safe manner. Responsibilities
- Ensures that jobs are kept on schedule and on budget
- Ensures all accidents are properly documented and reported immediately.
- Ensures that company production standards are met.
- Train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale.
- Work with minimal supervision from Landscape Supervisor but know when to ask for assistance.
- Properly operate equipment and tools
- Maintain a safe non-hazardous work environment
- Complete assigned duties efficiently by working with members of the team
- Perform duties the SoBo Way
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape construction.
- Physical ability to meet work demand in all weather conditions
- Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance (PM) on company equipment.
- Able to operate a transit, shoot grades and grade sites.
- Able to read landscape plans and drawings.
- Able to layout a job site and order materials.
Soft Skills
- Has the leadership capability and demeanor to effectively manage and direct a crew of two to four people
