Job Purpose:

The Lawn Field Trainer will provide technical and field training to the southern lawn division within the McCall footprint. This position will develop and administer technical and service-related training programs to ensure all field based technical positions have a strong technical and service knowledge to perform their position duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage, help design, develop, coordinate, and conduct initial training for all new hire field base lawn employees.

· Validate the On-The-Job training checklist that the Training Technician has covered with the new employee. This will be done by conducting scheduled ride-a-longs with the new employees at 30, 60, 90, 120, 6 months, and 1-year intervals.

· Work directly with the Technical Director to implement and track all aspects of field training.

· Evaluate training program effectiveness through field work.

· Retrain any field base employee whose technical skills are in need of improvement as determined by management.

· Utilize your field work to determine if there are any company wide knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.

· Maintains current knowledge of lawn pest service technologies and research efficacy.

· Maintains efficiencies and knowledge of all 3rd Party Audit Standards (SQF, AIB, BRC)

· Provides technical support to service professionals and clients to assist with solving technical and field problems.

· Remains current on developments in the pest management industry by regularly attending regional FPMA meetings.

Requirements:

We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

Pay: $35,124.49 - $50,389.97 per year
