Position : Mergers & Acquisitions
Position Location : San Jose, California
Duration : Fulltime
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the President & CEO of Bristlecone and Head Partnership & Alliance of Mahindra Group to support the expansion plans through alliances, market development, target identification, and keeping a pulse on future trends.
- Pitch to prospective clients for mandates, present solutions based on their strategic imperatives, ensure mandate conversion and create deal ideas based on relationships
- Influence key external stakeholders by developing a rapport with key decision-makers, anticipate potential roadblocks and act effectively to prevent those.
- Define effective negotiation strategy through an in-depth understanding of critical issues related to the transaction, construct solutions to bridge divergent positions of counterparties on valuation and specific terms, manage deal situations
- Ensure efficient deal closure, manage expectations on both sides to drive convergence on all issues, channel other advisors towards closure, and generate trust with the counterparty by projecting a sense of balance and equity
Person profile
- MBA with minimum 10 years of experience in Consulting / IBank / Banking / Private Equity, etc is desirable. Relevant M&A experience in IT Service Vertical is a must.
- Global and/or international experience desirable
- Strong financial, analytical, and valuation skills, including the ability to develop a strategic perspective for target identification and evaluation
- Demonstrated problem-solving /decision-making skills with the ability to understand a complex product portfolio and identify inorganic pathways to growth
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead cross-functional teams
- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and independent work
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
