Lead Packager/Cellarperson - Maple Lake Job Posting
Full-time, Hourly position ($18-$25 based on experience)
Work Location: Maple Lake, MN
Reports to Owner/Head Brewer

We are hiring a Lead Packager/Cellarperson at our Maple Lake location who will work directly with the owner and head brewer, Rob Miller. As this is a start-up expansion, this position, along with all other positions, will require a lot of crossover into all aspects of a packaging brewery.

Job Requirements:

• Canning line experience preferred, Wild Goose canning line experience a bonus
• Able to lift heavy equipment (full kegs, grain bags, etc.)
• Mechanically inclined
• Capable of maintaining a very clean and tidy work environment
• Strong work ethic, reliable
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, AND communication skills
• Willing to take directions and instructions
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

(Some) Job Duties:

• Operate packaging equipment including Wild Goose 5 head can filler, conveyor, depalletizer, keg flipping and hoisting equipment, labeler and other necessary packaging equipment
• Perform loading and unloading of canning and kegging components from packaging and canning lines
• Troubleshoot equipment problems within the packaging line
• Work in tandem with the brewery and sales team
• Operate machinery following all safety guidelines in an efficient manner
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to brewery standards
• Assist as needed in all other parts of the brewery
• Assist co-workers and cross train in other departments to ensure brewery goals are accomplished
• Ability to operate forklifts and move finished products and materials through the facility as directed
• Keep the brewery packaging area clean
• Assist with keg filling and cleaning
• Organize and manage cooler and keg inventory
• Scheduled CIP and SIP of equipment
