About You
This individual will develop and conduct in-depth and complex industrial engineering assignments to develop new methods, work process designs, cost estimates, and/or to resolve engineering problems involved in manufacturing of standard parts or products.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to perform capability analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Performs improvement projects using lean six sigma methodology.
- Supports change management and fully interacts with all manufacturing teams, supporting and driving process capability and control.
- Drives change thru direct contact with process operators, take lead on specific directed projects.
- Works directly with MSPG group identifying and delivering cost saving initiatives.
- Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment. Perform Lean Six Sigma methods and demonstrate continued use of DMAIC process with tangible results.
- Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
- Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
- Works to achieve lean Six Sigma black belt certification
- All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills and experience.
- Lean six sigma certified - green belt minimum.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Specifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Engineering or related preferred
- 7+ years' experience in similar required
