Do you have experience developing learner guides, job aids, interactive courses for end users and/or system administrators of software in a SaaS environment. As a Learning Experience Designer II (LXD II), you will support the UKG Learning and Community team strategy and deliver high-quality educational solutions in a blended learning model. We are looking for a Learning Experience Designer to help our customers, U Krewers, and partners become highly skilled champions of our Dimensions products. The Learning Experience Designer is a member of the UKG Learning Team and is responsible for the design and development of standardized education solutions for multiple UKG products in a variety of vertical industries.

Responsibilities

  • Using UKG design processes, templates, procedures, and tools, rapidly design and develop engaging and impactful learning activities and compelling course content, including but not limited to job aids, self-paced learning, and instructor-led course materials.

  • Collaborate and build relationships with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s training needs and product capabilities.

  • Work with Learning Leads and manager to ensure projects are completed on time and according to design, development, and quality standards.

  • Conduct internal reviews and testing to evaluate courseware during the design and development phases.

  • Stay current in training trends and recommend other training media, methods, and approaches to implement new ideas in a cost-effective manner.

  • Attend product training sessions and work with UKG products to become product proficient.

  • Solve a range of straightforward problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgement, and precedents.

  • Contribute to team projects and goals.

  • Assist in establishing team procedures.

Qualifications

  • Workforce management and/or Timekeeping product knowledge. UKG Dimensions or UKG Pro desirable but not required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Formal education in Instructional Design or comparable experience in adult learning preferred.

  • Minimum three years’ experience designing and developing learning assets and/or procedure documentation for software applications. SaaS environment preferred.

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills; dynamic and professional communication capabilities, both virtual and in person.

  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models. Experience working in an Agile (SAM) and waterfall (ADDIE) design environments preferred.

  • Experience with industry standard design software, such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, and CMS applications.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

  • Proven ability to develop software training that incorporates adult learning theories, visual learning design, and interactive training techniques. Experience with learning development in multiple modalities including instructor-led training (synchronous and asynchronous) and self-paced learning (including for mobile devices). Samples required.

  • Strong oral/written communication and editing skills, ability to communicate concrete and abstract ideas for the appropriate audiences, and demonstrate high attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work in teams and independently. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, juggle multiple changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
