Heatherwood is looking for a full-time Leasing Consultant. A person in this position will report to the Community Manager and will be responsible for showing apartments to prospective renters, processing renewals for current residents, and providing outstanding customer service to all our customers. Applicants must be able to work one weekend day.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Warmly meet and greet prospective residents and provide tours
• Effectively showcase the benefits of the apartments and community
• Effectively communicate with prospects to help them find an apartment to call home
• Guide prospects through the application process
• Conduct background and credit checks on applicants
• Prepare and execute lease agreements
• Schedule appointments for move-in and create move-in packets
• Must be able to travel to other locations (as needed)
• Do competitive shopping
• Experienced with lease renewals preferred
• Must be familiar with Live Chat, CRM, Yardi, walk-ins, telephone solicitor
• Must be able to take apartment applications
• Assist with prospects and inquiries
• Applicant must be able to rent apartment and/or send applicant to other sites
• Execute on-site credit and background checks on applicants
• Experienced with lease renewals preferred
• Hourly position - not commissioned based

Required Qualifications:

As we review candidates for this role, we will be looking for these qualifications:

• Familiar with Yardi software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Detail Oriented and be able to follow through.
• Great customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent Computer Skills.
• Must have excellent phone skills.
• Traveling between sites may be required.
