Lecturer Job at University of Maine
The University of Maine School of Computing and Information Science (SCIS) seeks applicants for a fixed-length Computer Science teaching faculty position for one year at the rank of lecturer, with an anticipated start date of August 28, 2023.
The successful candidate will be expected to be an effective and engaging teacher, and to collaborate with colleagues to increase student success. The typical teaching assignment is three courses per semester at the undergraduate level.

Required:
- A graduate degree in computer science or a closely related discipline is required by date of hire.
- Documented successful college-level teaching.
Preferred:
- We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach a wide range of computer science courses from the introductory to advanced undergraduate levels.
- Preference will be given to those applicants with documented participation in activities promoting inclusive excellence.
