Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a full time/direct hire Legal Assistant to join a growing Trust and Estates law firm in Miami, Fl. This position would provide admin support and legal support to a Firm Partner and their legal team.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
  • Review and proofread a range of legal correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to attorney and paralegals
  • Maintain and manage attorney calendar
  • Answer phones; manage incoming calls, messaging, transfers, and conference calls
  • Manage billing; Process expense reports and check requests
  • Draft cover letters and other attorney correspondence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented and very organized
  • Case management; Run conflict checks on clients
  • Proven Time Management skills

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant legal assistant experience
  • Experience working at a law firm required

Education
  • Highschool Diploma

Skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites and billing software

Compensation and Benefits
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $55,000 to $65,000 and benefits may include 401k matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
