What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Loan Processor to assist in the review of loan applications and to process loans.

Job Summary

The primary function of this position is to assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission to provide best value financial services to members by providing outstanding service to both members and internal members. Under the supervision of the Consumer Lending Supervisor, performs a variety of Loan Servicing functions in connection with Consumer loans including funding and processing the final closing and distribution of paid loans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

To deliver service in alignment with our Service Promises.

• Provide exceptional service.

• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Aid all Departments and Branches to ensure that general loan information given is accurate and timely.
• Communicate with member to obtain missing information, comply with due diligence requirements, and verify collateral.
• Provide product/service information to Credit Union members by answering questions.
• Review and fund all indirect auto loans.
• Prepares loan work sheet, insurance record, credit report, and application copy for each loan as necessary.
• Review all consumer loan documentation and fund.
• Compares original application against credit report.
• Prepares checks for funding.
• Maintains Documentation to ensure that all information has been correctly identified in the Credit Union core system.
• Provide quality back-up for all the other members of the Lending Service team.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and strong computer and analytical skills.
