The City of Orem is hiring for a Librarian to direct and supervise the Children's Services section of the Library. Responsibilities include management, collection development, and reference service. Provides professional reference and advisory services to patrons. Responsible for selection, maintenance and subscription coordination of junior magazines, databases, and other resources. Plans and presents programs. Hires, trains, and supervises library employees. Responsible for the preparation and administration of the section budget. This is a professional position working under the direction of a Library Division Manager. Participates as a member of the City Library's executive staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule
Full-Time, 40 hours a week. Some evenings and Saturdays will be required to work.
