Certified Medication Technician administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under immediate supervision. Verifies identity of patient receiving medications and records name of drugs, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records.
Being a Certified Medication Technician takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to medication. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and certified as a Medication Technician. Additionally, Certified Medication Technician typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Certified Medication Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
Having reliable transportation and communication skills are imperative. We are looking to hire immediately!
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
