Peak Healthcare at Caton Manor is looking for a
Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) to join our growing nursing home staff and provide residents with daily care and support. Our ideal candidate has nursing home experience, is a keen observer and good communicator, and can bring a friendly and compassionate attitude to the job. Peak Healthcare operates 10 nursing home facilities throughout the state, and we pride ourselves on a reputation for quality long-term care.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Observe and manage resident patient health according to individual needs. Provide routine care, ensure comfort, and report any changes in resident health and behavior.
- Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Assist registered nurses and physicians in their duties.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, feeding, transportation, and movement.
- Administer medications and injections, provide wound care, perform standard diagnostic procedures, and collect and prepare specimens.
- Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
- Maintain licensure and take ownership of professional development through educational opportunities.
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Completion of state-approved LPN education program and current state LPN license or compact license.
- BLS and CPR certification
- 1-2 years recent nursing home experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift patients and medical equipment
- Knowledge of Point, Click, Care preferred, but not required.
