Lifeguard/Swim Instructor NJ Summer Day Camp Job at Spring Lake Day Camp
Spring Lake Day Camp, a day camp located in Ringwood, New Jersey is looking for certified lifeguards for our 40,000 square foot pool complex and 5 acre lake, for our summer 2023 season. If not certified, but interested in being a lifeguard, the American Red Cross certification course is available for a fee on site in late May/ early June 2023. SLDC also has a course reimbursement plan upon completion of summer employment.
Lifeguards must be at least 16 years of age. There will be training and orientation prior to the beginning of camp, and staff will be taught how to instruct campers, ages preschool through teens. Lifeguards will not only instruct but also guard our pool complex. Lifeguards not interested in teaching swim instruction can work at our 5 acre lake where campers participate in boating as well as swim in our "plake" deep water slides area.

Free catered lunch and staff shirts provided. Transportation to and from camp may be available. WSI bonus available.
Staff must be available to work 8 weeks (37 days), Monday, June 26th - Thursday, August 17th, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm. Camp is closed Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday July 4th.
