Lifeline for Families Job at AmeriCorps
The Fundraising and Grant Development VISTA will build Lifeline for Families capacity to help more families in need in Grand Prairie Independent School District by increasing services to match the growth of current poverty rate and to help them recover from the financial and social effects of homelessness. Lifeline provides emergency assistance, temporary shelter, and life skills training for the children in crisis who are enrolled in the Grand Prairie Independent School District. Major duties include: *Research and write a minimum of 6 grant proposals with a potential outcome of $60,000; *Promote current fundraising programs and develop strategies for creating new fund raising programs; *Increasing digital marketing efforts and increase community awareness for programs and support. The VISTA member could serve remotely or in a hybrid environment.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will increase the financial capacity through grant writing and program communication. The member will assist Executive Director in existing fundraising events and opportunities.
