Job Summary

To oversee the lighting systems at the International Christian Center (“ICC”) Paredes campus, as well as oversee lighting operation and development for student environments. Will also assist the Production Director in cultivating a distraction free environment where people experience the presence of God at International Christian Center.

Duties and Responsibilities

Central Functions and Responsibilities

• Oversee the programming of the lighting systems
• Will train other volunteers on using the lighting system
• Oversee the programming of lighting cues, creation service visuals, and operation of lighting equipment for regular weekly services and special events at the Paredes campus
• Oversee lighting experience (programming) for Crossover Night at Paredes campus
• Assist in the repair of damaged lighting fixtures and equipment
• Assist in campus lighting projects as needed, including: system installations, upgrades, and repairs, to ensure high levels of quality, preparation, and interdepartmental communication; coordination with other departments; scheduling and attending meetings; liaising with contractors and host venues; and coordinating site visits with vendors as needed

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with lighting or production equipment setup and operation for ICC services and events at any campus as needed
• Assist other ICC departments with lighting and/or lighting equipment support
• Two (2) years’ experience in lighting production or broadcast environment
• Intermediate MAC and PC proficiency
• Intermediate understanding of lighting consoles (specifically, GrandMA3)
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

• Brownsville, TX 78526: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
