Line Cooks at our
Amazing Innovation Brewpub on Capitol Hill in
Seattle, WA.
Specific job duties include:
- Supports the Company's Vision, Mission and Values
- Adheres to proper hygiene and food handling procedures
- Ensures overall sanitation of kitchen areas including cleaning schedule is completed
- Preps food and restocks stations
- Maintains awareness of inventory levels and communicates needs proactively
- Performs final preparation of food for customers
- Contributes to optimizing quality and costs in the kitchen
- Maintains kitchen equipment in good order
- Work the sauté and grill stations
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Attendance required per company policy
Position requirements:
- 2+ years of experience cooking in a fast-paced commercial kitchen prefered
- Able to multi-task and willing to help where needed
- Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong quality control skills
- Dependable, Responsible, Works Safely
- Adaptable/ flexible
- Good knife skills, basic sauce and prep knowledge
- Knowledge of FIFO system
