Line Operator Entry Level Job at Sanderson Farms, Inc.
- Major Responsibilities: · May require the use of knives and/or scissors · Performs other duties as directed by supervisor. In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following requirements: · Able to work in various temperatures ranging from warm humid conditions to cold environments of 32 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit · Able to grasp, reach, push and pull · Able to work in a noisy environment · Able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment at all times · May be required to work extended hours, holidays or weekends
- · Tolerate exposure to chemicals within OSHA limits
- · Able to stand for long periods of time
- · Able to lift 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs or more utilizing proper lifting techniques
- · Able to work in wet, moist conditions
- · Must be at least 18 years old
- Position Requirements:
- · Satisfactory attendance and job performance must be maintained in accordance with Company Policies and procedures
- · To work in a fast paced, repetitive motion production area by preparing the product to a sellable form
