Position Overview

The Livestream Operations Director is responsible for ensuring that Colibri can reach students where they are via live streaming video, content, and instruction. This role is expected to provide a reliable, consistent learning experience for students receiving professional education from Colibri’s multiple ecosystems. Responsibilities include converting and publishing content for livestream delivery, course setup, instructor and moderator preparation, student support during livestream instruction, schedule change management, and post-course evaluation support.

Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities
  • Drive a strategy and vision for first-class live course delivery and professional learning experience.
  • Partner with ecosystem leadership to ensure that livestream objectives and efforts align with ecosystem needs and goals.
  • Establish livestream operating standards for a “One Colibri” student experience.
  • Provide instructor and moderator training to equip with the skills to execute against the livestream standards.
  • Ensure an efficient process for instructor scheduling.
  • Establish a governance process to maintain oversight and quality of course delivery.
  • Design and implement measurement strategy to evaluate and monitor key strategy and experience drivers.
  • Partner with business to manage and track Livestream P&L
Qualifications

  • Overall experience of 10+ years in video production and delivery environments and working closely with cross- functional leaders to broadcast live and/or streaming content.

  • 5-7 years of experience in project/program management; 5+ years of leadership experience.

  • Experience with a private company or large business unit, professional education experience is a plus.

  • Experience in an environment recognized for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in video production, digital instructional design, business or related field of study required
