ULG Skilled Trades has an immediate need for Apprentice Carpenters in Fort Wayne, IN.
Job Details:
- Pay: up to $30.00
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 40-50/week
- Length: Permanent
- Will assist in processes such as building or repairing window frames, doors, cabinets, interior and exterior trim, metal stud framing, metal siding, drywall, form carpentry, and any necessary labor on the jobsite.
- Will be working primarily on new commercial construction or expansion projects, such as hotels, schools, hospitals, retail centers and urgent care facilities.
Job Requirements:
- MUST provide updated resume documenting job history, duties, and applicable skill sets.
- MUST have 3+ years carpentry experience.
- Apprentices must possess all basic hand tools, such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, level, chalk, impact, tape measure, and tool belt.
- Standard construction PPE must be worn on all jobsites (hard hat, hi-vis, gloves, eye protection, steel toed boots, and harness / double lanyard if applicable).
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with valid trade or safety certifications.
