Job Description

The local delivery driver will have the ability to drive one of our four delivery vehicles, ranging from pickup trucks to 26 foot flatbeds. You will deliver items such as water heaters, pipe, valves and fittings to all types of commercial and plumbing contractors in a timely and efficient manor. The driver will need to be able to follow instruction from their direct supervisor and follow delivery routes. You should be able to help load and unload your own truck and will occasionally need to help contractors get commercial water heaters into place on a job site. This is a full time position where some overtime may be required. Our hours are from 6:45 to 4:45 Monday through Friday and on very rare occasion there may be some Saturday hours required. DOT physical and a clean MVR are required for this position. Experience driving and forklift certification are preferred but not required (we can train on the job).

Primary Responsibilities

• Be responsible for your delivery vehicle and inventory

• Be Punctual

• Drive an array of vehicles

• Customer service (everybody sells)

• Load and unload trucks

• Be able to do a days work in a day

• Run a stair climber product dolly (we can train on this)

• Pull orders when needed

• Help with various warehouse duties when needed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 19 years old to drive

• Clean MVR for minimum of 7 years

• Ability to lift minimum of 80lbs

• Must be able to pass DOT physical or hold a current card

• Ability to use gps services

• Good communication skills

• Follow instructions
