As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for booking and tracking freight, and communicating with customers and salespeople. This role will support customer service and purchasing with order entry, freight booking, tracking, and issue escalation. You will also support intercompany billing functions.

What You Will Do at Acme:

• 
  Schedule air/truck shipments and making delivery/pickup appointments with carriers.
• Enter orders into computer and track shipments.
• Coordinate with Shipping Manager things like temp recorders, pallets quantities, and truck schedules.
• Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks.
• Track and ensure ocean/air shipments are scheduled for delivery without any issues with Customs, FDA, shipping line.
• Ensure documents were filed timely and accurately for ocean/air shipments.
• Build strong relationships with clients, be customer service oriented and a problem solver.
• Prepare billing and applicable shipping documents and being attentive to specific needs of customers.
• Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
• Handle inter-company billing.

Your Education & Experience:

• 
  Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping and/or receiving or related field.
• Experience with ERP/order entry systems preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel preferred.

Your Skills & Abilities:

• 
  Must be detailed oriented.
• Ability to multitask and recognize tasks as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Great at problem solving.
• Working knowledge of PC computer systems, and cargo management software preferred.
