The Logistic Operations Engineer (LOE) Manager is to ensure the LOE’s work is planned with the focus of the business in mind. They are also the point of contact for our Hotline on root cause analysis for all P1/P2/P3 issues. They provide data capture around KPI’s that feed into the daily/monthly reviews.
The role of an LOE manager therefore combines supervisory, technical, training and administrative responsibilities. Another function is the coordination between KNAPP and its customer to finetune the operations. They work as part of a team for a KNAPP customer and interact with Service Desk (HQ) and computer systems, software, physical technology (machinery), engineers and end users to increase stability, efficiency and establish best practices.

Support RCA on all P1/P2 issues providing detailed reports around incidents in liaison with Hotline- Continuously analyzing and improving the operational process
- Leads and supervises troubleshooting procedures
- Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives
- Planning and coordinating the focus and workload of the shift LOE’s
- Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions
- Determine impact on whole logistic system together with customer
- Improves operational quality results by studying, evaluating, and recommending process re-design
- Supervises implementation of changes
- Continuous Improvement Process
WHAT YOU WILL GET
Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Logistics (preferred) or related field, or equivalent experience- An understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management
- 3-5 years related experience in warehousing, high volume manufacturing, distribution, production planning and/or transportation environment
- Knowledge of WMS, WCS and SRC
- Bilingual (English / German) preferable
- An engineering industry background preferred
- Operational experience within and automated distribution facility
- Strong skills in report development
- ITIL Foundation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Proven organisational skills
- Customer focused
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team orientated
- Able to lead and motivate others & able to work autonomously with a minimum of supervision
