This position is based at our Federal Way Administrative Office, but work is carried out in locations throughout the Puget Sound.

* Kent * Auburn * Browns Point * Olympia * Edgewood
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Staff Development Coordinator functions as an integral member of the nursing administrative team, primarily focusing on: Staff development; Coordination of onboarding training for new clinical staff members to ensure successful completion of the 180-day introductory period; Creation/updating of curriculum/clinical modules/applications; Provision of clinical and EMR training; and Coordination of family clinical education.
Other responsibilities of this position include: Providing support to the clinical management team; Participating in rotating clinical or scheduling on-call duties with the Clinical Leadership Team; and, Participating in skills assessment to determine training needs for the clinical team members.
ESSENTIAL ONGOING REQUIREMENTS:
- Required LPN or RN license with a current Washington State Licensure (BSN preferred)
- 2 years of clinical trainer experience, (preferably in pediatric and/or homecare nursing)
- Participating in the rotating clinical on-call responsibilities at our five residential group homes, that includes both pediatrics and young adults
