Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will perform direct patient care within the scope of the LPN using the nursing process of re-assessment, reviewing the plan of care, intervention, implementation and evaluation of all assigned patients, infancy through life span.
• You must be able to respond timely and make accurate decisions in order to provide stabilizing care to individuals in a crisis situation.
• The LPN will administer emergency nursing care including assisting with emergency procedures, providing IV therapy, cleaning and bandaging wounds and administering medications or injections.
• Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patients - plans and carries out individualized patient care.
• You will deliver medical/surgical nursing care to all patients
• You will work with RN to assess patient’s needs, plan, deliver and coordinate care
• You will handle reassessing/evaluating care.
• You will act as a role model for care delivery and demonstrate WE CARE Values in all Actions.
• You will demonstrate excellent customer service.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current TN LPN license.
• Basic Healthcare Provider (BLS), Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required with in 6months of hire or promotion.
• Complete de-escalation class within 6 months of hire.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
