Job description
The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade is seeking Shahbaz to provide care to our elders, in an amazing and beautiful home-like setting that incorporates holistic care and elder participation. We offer 2 new incentive programs, as well as, a new pay scale including a shift diff (2p-10p= $1.00 and 10p-6a=$0.50). Nurses also have a weekend option, work 2- 16hr shifts (32hrs) and get paid for 40hrs. The primary purpose of this position is to protect, nurture, and sustain the elders by providing assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that promotes a high quality of life. Candidates will prepare and serve meals, launder clothing, and perform routine housekeeping duties. Other responsibilities include providing activities that engage the elders in a meaningful way and working cooperatively with other Shahbazim on the self-managed work team. Must have a current CNA certificate, previous experience with the elderly preferred.
About The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade®: The Green House® homes are designed as a private home, for 12 elders, each with his/her own bedroom and full bathroom. The physical space is not meant to be "homelike", but to be a home. This new approach is a de-institutionalization effort that restores individuals to a home in the community with the full range of personal care and clinical services expected in high quality skilled nursing homes. The focus of the life in the Green House homes is on empowerment and the individual and unique needs of each elder. The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade embraces this new approach while providing fully licensed nursing care.
