This is the role:

We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as a Robot- Machine Operators. The Robot operator, operates unit load robotic machines to ensure the packaging of finished insulation, as well as labelling, strappers, hooders, and stacking machines This job involves working with moving conveyors, robots and heating equipment.

This is What You Offer:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience in machine set-up and computers

· Drive, commitment, positive attitude and high energy

· Must know how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.

· Good understanding of H+S requirements and works in a safe manner.

· Must be a self-starter

· Good people and communication skills: must be able to communicate well with all departments

· Must be a team player

· The ability to read and understand written instructions

· To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.

· Hands-on problem solver

· Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:

· Operate Unit Load (Robot) – including use of computer systems and making the necessary adjustments

· Respond to alarms, including clearing up jams etc. along the lines

· Load/maintain pallet de-stacker according to the proper procedures

· Maintain strapper – including change of rolls and adjusting tension

· Maintain hooder – including change of rolls and adjusting tension

· Maintain labeler – including change of label rolls and printing ribbons

· Clearing up jams on the labeler

· Prepare for product change in advance of the production

· Notify Lead Hand or Supervisor of any problems

· Communicate any unusual conditions, equipment breakdowns or needs for repair

· Complete shutdown tasks according to shutdown procedures or checklists

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The job is physically demanding at times. It does require good manual dexterity, good eyesight and good mobility. The position requires a high level of concentration.

Must be capable of performing the following with effective results and without personal injury:

· Consistently stand/walk on concrete floors for 8 or more hours per shift.

· Work in high temperatures, in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit

· Some lifting, bending, stooping, walking up/downstairs, fast pace walking

· The ability to lift 60 pounds

· The ability to lift up to 120 pounds with another person

· The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height

· The ability to sweep

· The ability to use sharp objects in a safe manner

· Ability to wear protective + safety equipment
