Machine Operators Needed ASAP!
Perform any task required within the machine shop and focus on maximizing the production output of their cell. Communication- will communicate issues to supervisor.
- Responsible for performing following functions of a cell, which include, but are not limited to, running a CNC machine, inspection of components, electronic responsibilities as defined, deburring, washing, secondary operations.
- Measure and inspect components with applicable measuring tools, Caliper, Pin, Thread Gauges and other functional gauges based on drawing specifications and take an active role in the quality processes within their cell.
- Report any non-conformances to the Cell leader and/or Supervisor so non-conformance can be corrected immediately.
- Assist with the set-up process as needed.
- Responsible for assisting other cell members by completing their daily tasks at the direction of the Machine shop Cell Leader.
- Identify opportunities to increase total production output of their manufacturing cell and communicate them to the Machine Shop Cell Leader.
- Responsible for Housekeeping awareness
- Responsible for ensuring the machine shop is compliant to the GCX quality system and understands their quality role.
