We are a manufacturing and printing company located in SW part of Houston with immediate positions for Machine operator position. Maintain and execute all functions according to policy and procedure, safety requirements, and best practice. Applicants must understand and speak English fluently and eligible to work in the United States. This position requires the applicant to be available and present at work in any shifts including Saturday and Sunday.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare inventory materials and set up equipment for production jobs
- Follow instructions and consult with the floor managers or supervisors
- Use production and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide assistance to the managers and supervisors as needed
- Ensure production equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
Skills:
- Basic Knowledge of: Customer Order Processes, Inventory System, and Microsoft Windows
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English is mandatory.
- Capability of Multi-tasking
- Ability to type at an accurate speed
- Hard working & energetic.
Education:
- High School Diploma preferred (GED acceptable).
Experience:
- Previous experience required. Training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without any assistance
- Ability to maintain composure during periods of high stress
- Ability to stand / move most of the day and handle multiple things at once.
