Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1
Pay Rate: $20/Hr.
Duration: 12 Months

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Shift 2: 2:30 pm -11:00 pm

Training of new hires will take place on the 1st shift 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Note: Must pass a background check and drug test with minimum education qualification of High School Diploma

This position is for the Diagnostic Imaging division.

This position requires Contingent Workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Requirements:The Manufacturing Technician's responsibilities include:Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions.
Ability to use a micrometer to measure the thickness of the material.
Ability to operate manual manufacturing machine (Rolling press, SMG cutting press) to produce the product.
Ability to troubleshoot automated press to continue producing the product.
Ability to use hand tools (wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) to assemble products.

Experience:
1-3 years experience in the area of responsibility.Ability to read, interpret and follow prints, diagrams, written and oral work instructions, and other written documentation relevant to production.
Good working knowledge of measure units' American standards and metrics.
Assemble, test, and pack products using a variety of hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and computerized equipment.
Perform in-process checks to ensure the accuracy of work. Must have a good eye for detail.
Complete production on time.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Ability to read and use measuring tools. (Micrometers, calipers)
Self-starters must be able to work on their own with limited supervision and have good communication skills.
Knowledge:HS diploma or equivalent required.
Millings experience a plus.
Must be computer literate, and knowledgeable in word and e-mails for general communications.
