Machine Operator Plastics Job at Employee Staffing Group
Looking for entry level Plastic Machine Ops to join our growing team in Kansas City, MO 64125. Starting pay is $15 and schedule is Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Shift Supervisors as well as other Machine Operators, you'll be operating various blow-molding and injection presses to create products for our customers
- Review production sheets to determine what products will be run on which machines
- Reviews the set-up book to gain knowledge of recent activities regarding tooling, molds, parts, etc
- Prepares for changes by reviewing the quality control sheet, pulling all material(s), tools/equipment and arranges them near the machine
- Sets molds as required
- Inspects for good condition, clearances, loose wires/water lines, potential hazards or failures before starting the machine
- Replaces necessary parts using established procedures and precautions as required
- Adjust weights of products by entering information in the blending system program
- Inspect products for hardness, holes, color, lines or any other defects and enter adjustments
Qualifications
- Detail oriented and love creating and completing quality product
- Strong communicator and self-starter
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaboration
- Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds
