Eastern Wholesale Fence in Salisbury now hiring a Machine Operator (Class C) Trainee
Position Overview:
Operating twin screw extruders and downstream equipment. Work individually as well as part of a team. Communicate effectively with the QC department and packers; follow procedural tasks. In charge of the other machine operators in the shift. Responsible for overseeing all the systems and machinery at the workplace.
Essential job functions:
- Assist the Machine Operators in the day to day functions
- Setup and operate plastic extrusion lines.
- Monitor and maintain product quality and packing.
- Develops troubleshooting techniques to improve line performance.
- Tracking production schedule.
- General labor.
- Technical and mechanical knowledge a must.
Other job functions:
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in Extrusion and/or Manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude
Physical demands & work environment:
- Ability to lift 50lbs
