Job description
Production -General Labor – Some Entry Level positions – in Livermore. These are full-time, temp-to-hire positions where you will earn $19.00 an hour, based on your experience, position, and shift. There is free onsite parking and an employee lunchroom with a microwave, refrigerator, and vending machines available for your use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Responsible for proper handling product and packaging
· Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
· Wash parts in wash area to prepare parts for shipment.
· Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
· Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
· Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
· Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
· Sealing containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
· Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
· Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
· Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
· Be available to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
· Be able to work Monday - Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m
