Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. Position may include Weld/Fabricator Supervisor, Assembly, Test, or other manufacturing processes, will manage 25 – 30 machinists on multiple shifts
- Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
- Provide continual evaluation of the group’s processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
- Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
- Recommend tooling supplies and replacement parts as required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, and organization of equipment and materials in the fabrication area.
- Work with Engineering, Production Control, and QA on drawing problems, manufacturing order problems, and quality problems.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Drive Cell KPI Goals by engaging.
- Ensure Lean & Continuous improvement projects are successfully implemented.
- Monitor and Improve Cost of Manufacturing of products.
- Drive Quality improvements by developing robust process and reduction variations.
- Drive out NCR’s & Machine Crashes by identifying Root Causes and implementing fixes.
- Lead Planner to Optimize Equipment Capacity and On Time Deliveries.
·Machine shop supervisor will: provide training/ guidance to the shop personal. Subject matter expertise in specific manufacturing discipline(s); CNC machining and manual machining.
- Demonstrates proficiency in processing, machinery, and materials.
- Will work closely with manufacturing engineering department/programming on production start-ups: to ensure required process have been established, and documented, coordinate timing/ support with debugging activities including tooling/ equipment modification/ repair; and establish machine tool program acceptance.
- Works within the Machine Shop as required completing Development, Sampling and/or NPD activities relating to process improvements currently in place.
- Drive innovation throughout the organization maintains in-depth relationships with the Manufacturing Engineer department, and Tool Room supervisor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Assist plant leadership in driving and accomplishing key performance indicators.
- Plan and prioritize daily job assignments.
- Coordinates production troubleshooting, as it relates to tooling and gauge availability.
Education & Experience Qualifications
High School diploma.
Minimum 5 years work experience in related field

Pay: $50,067.44 - $95,000.00 per year
