Machine Technician 3 - 1st Shift Job at Design Group Americas
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate various cutting equipment in the plant.
- Safely handle power industrial equipment including forklift operation.
- Work in a clean and orderly manner
- Operate and train on the Hydraulic Laminator.
- Operate and train on the Oasys card punch and PMC card cutter equipment.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Accurately and efficiently fill customer orders.
- Maintains clean work areas.
- Follows company safety policies and procedures.
- Informs leadership of safety hazards or problem situations.
- Keeps up with required metrics for areas assigned.
- Supports other job assignments as needed and directed by leadership team.
- Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Mechanically oriented.
- Quality-minded.
- Ability to drive powered material handling equipment including, Forklift.
- Ability to lift between 35-50lbs as needed.
- Able to stand on cement floors for long periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Distribution/manufacturing environment that is controlled with heat and air-conditioning.
- Pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including other shifts and weekends.
