Machine Technician Job at Communications Corporation of America
We are looking for a Machine Technician (entry to intermediate level) to join our team! Our machine technicians help maintain quality and maximum production by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate must have mechanical knowledge and at least one year of Machine Mechanic experience. Compensation for this position is hourly based and it commensurate with experience.
Schedule: This is a full time position in 2nd Shift. Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (must be able to work overtime hours and some weekends as business requires)
Responsibilities:
- Set-up mailroom machines to start production
- Follow startup procedures to ensure project timelines are met and downtime is minimal
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure quality and production
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence for customer specifications
- Use computers to set up functions, enter data, or process information
- Performs daily troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for on-line production machinery

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Self-starter
- Fast learner and be able to follow directions
- knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills
- Able to stand and walk most of the day
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be 18 yrs or older to apply
- Must take our Mechanical Aptitude test to qualify for the role
