SAN RAMON, CA company is hiring a Mail House Data/Digital Print Associate. The experienced person will have a data processing (and preferably digital printing) background. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Willingness to work occasional swing or night shift, and occasional weekends are required. Health insurance is available to regular full-time employees that work at least 30 hours per week after 3 months of consecutive employment.

WHAT WE PRINT & MAIL:

Postcards, flyers, letters, booklets, posters, labels, stickers, large format banners, and other products for direct mail and fulfillment distribution.

SOFTWARE & EQUIPMENT SKILL SET:

• Ability to work with Database program and Cass-Certification software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products for output & design (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign) is a bonus.

• Set up art files for mailing, and for digital printing.

• Experience with various graphic file formats.

• Experience with Quality Control for Customer Color, using documentation for CMYK

• Helpful to already understand color calibrating, imposition, creating bleeds, crops, etc.

• Helpful to know any of these print finishing processes (scanning/creasing/cutting/drilling/hole punching/lamination/mounting/padding/stapling/coil binding).

• Follows established guidelines and procedures for receiving, documenting, and organizing projects.

• Completes all necessary paperwork for department procedures.

• Understands deadlines and knows how to prioritize.

• Ability to Multi-Task and Focus with Accuracy in Noisy Print and Data Production Office

• Good communicator – verbal and written.

• Lifting heavy substrates boxes or wide format roll stock.

• Tolerance to sustained hours working on a computer; various substrates, print toners, plastics and laminates, dust, warm and cold temperatures.

• Able to stand or sit for 3.75 hours at a time
