1. Establish and carry out a preventive maintenance program.
2. Develop and recommend policies and procedures for maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment.
3. Requisition supplies needed within the annual budget. Request prior approval for items rarely purchased.
4. Maintain neat, clean interiors and exteriors of the buildings.
5. Ensure that flower beds are manicured, watered and fertilized.
6. Ensure that driveways and walks is plowed in winter and cleared of snow and salted to prevent icing.
7. Ensure safe and proper storage of cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools and equipment.
8. Participate in tasks needed to maintain buildings and grounds.
9. Report concerns about residents' well-being to Case Manager or Administrator.
10. Repair equipment or requisition needed services to repair equipment.
11. Check daily for work requests of staff and residents.
12. Perform handyman tasks for residents.
13. Maintain an accurate ledger of repairs and services provided and submit to the office by the designated date each month.
14. Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.
15. Inspect buildings and grounds weekly and repair item identified as needing repair; replace light bulbs.
16. Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35,678.26 per year
