Arkview Recovery Center is a leading addiction treatment facility in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. We are looking for a talented and dedicated person who can take care of our building: a 55,000 sq ft, former hospital converted into a residential facility.

This person would oversee ALL maintenance including basic repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and overall up-keepingto ensure the place stays in great condition.

Responsibilities include:

BUDGET
● Develop and track annual maintenance and janitorial budgets

● Order and inventory all janitorial and maintenance supplies and materials

● Obtain quotes as needed for large scale projects

● Negotiate outside service contracts (Roofing,HVAC, pest control, snow removal, landscaping, fire suppression)

LEADERSHIP
● Prepare and distribute schedules and plans for cleaning and maintenance

● Issue, and remove staff badges and permissions to maintain door access control

● Train staff on emergency procedures

● Train staff on cleaning, and maintenance processes

● Collaborate with HR to fill positions; conduct interviews

● Conduct daily facility inspections to identify deficiencies, and verify compliance with issuing authorities

● Ensure all building inspections and permits are current

● Collaborate with other departments to schedule and lead fire, and severe weather drills

● Plan and execute projects defined by executive directors

● Determine and share facility needs with executive directors

MAINTENANCE
● Develop, implement, refine and execute preventative maintenance schedules

● Oversee janitorial, and maintenance staff and their duties

● Oversee and ensure landscaping tasks are completed (mowing, weed whacking, planting, watering)

● Maintain heating systems (water heaters)

● Maintain rooftop AC/Heat units (11 RTUs), quarterly services

● Maintain Split AC/Heat units (4 split systems) quarterly services

● Monitor AC/Heat controller for faults, identify and correct deficiencies

● Maintain all kitchen equipment (walk in cooler/freezer, stove/oven, ice maker, steam table)

● Maintain electrical systems; 27 panels, 9 transformers, 1 CAT generator(identify and verify circuits on panel schedules, complete electrical repairs as needed)

● Maintain plumbing systems (repair leaks, repair/replace drains, maintain proper flow of all waste water systems)

● Ensure all necessary painting, carpentry, and floor care repairs are completed

● Monitor and correct deficiencies with IT systems (computers, printers)

● Create and maintain staff access control systems (RFID door lock systems)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a leadership role
• Excellent organization skills
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance (Previous experience with DDAP and Joint Commission preferred)
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of a large building
• Effective Communication Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
