Theprimary purpose of this position is to repair and maintain CNC machinery,Manual Controlled machinery (NC), and instrumentation, and other plantequipment for Siemens Energy, Inc. in an optimum state of repair with maximumoperating efficiency and minimum downtime.

HowYou’ll Make an Impact

• Diagnose and correct problems associated withequipment performance on complex electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics,mechanical, and machine lubrication systems
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance(PM’s) per the provided check-sheets for machines and equipment. May setalignment checking methods, help to evaluate data, and perform and/or overseerequired adjustments
• Diagnoses, installs, repairs, tests, and maycalibrate complex AC and DC electrical systems, such as motor-startingcircuits, AC magnetic circuits, pilot device systems, pressure and limit switches,and solenoid valves
• Determine replacement parts and be able tosubmit part material requisitions
• Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without need for current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers

What You Bring

• Passthe Electrician A Test
• Demonstrate basic knowledge ofSiemen 840D and Step 7 or Fanuc controls
• Familiarization and trainingin LOTO and high voltage
• Minimum 3 years of electricianexperience
• High School Diploma (additionalrelevant miliary or school training accepted)
• Vision must be correctable to20/40, lift more than 25 pounds, and pass a hearing test.
