Maintenance / Garage Attendant Job at Air Star Transportation
Air Star Transportation is currently seeking someone to assist in areas of maintenance and garage. The perfect candidate will be outgoing, handy, and willing to pitch in.
This position is Full-Time and will working evenings and weekends. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 4:00pm-12:00am. Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm-8:00pm.
Key Job Elements:
· Ground’s maintenance
· Assist with the washing and detailing of company vehicles
· Attending and managing the parking lot as needed
· Managing general repairs around the office
· Helping mechanics as needed
· Light janitorial duties
· Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Knowledge:
· A high school diploma, required
· Valid PA driver’s license
· Clean/clear criminal driving record
· Must be able to pass a drug test
Skills:
· Strong verbal communication skills
· A polite, upbeat, positive, and professional demeanor
Abilities:
· Ability to interact effectively as a member of the team
· Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
· Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed
· Be physically and mentally able to perform duties. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, be able to lift reasonable weights without limitation
· Ability to perform under stressful situations, multi-task, deal with multiple personalities, and prioritize work requests
· Must possess an attitude of safety and emergency preparedness; understand the principles of a life safety program, company safety programs and training, and their overall importance to building operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
