Granger Waste Services is seeking a MAINTENANCE MANAGER to lead all truck, heavy equipment and other machine maintenance at our Lansing location.

Here is a scope of work preview:

• 80+ routed trash trucks leaving the facility every morning, with a host of spares
• New equipment regularly received into the fleet
• Two landfills with heavy equipment including trash machines, D8 dozers, excavators, off road trucks and loaders
• Leadership of a team of supervisors, mechanics on two shifts, a fabrication team and a weld shop
• 14 bays and 3 cranes to support the maintenance team
• Well managed parts room for effective and efficient maintenance and repairs

Here is what we are looking for in a qualified candidate:

• Bachelor's Degree in diesel technology, management, or related field preferred. High School Diploma or GED (accredited) required.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience with proven success performing master mechanic level work on diesel trucks and heavy equipment
• 5+ years management experience leading a large multi-shift shop to achieve defined maintenance goals and safety standards
• Proven experience managing and utilizing data and software effectively including Microsoft products in a paperless shop environment
• RTA or other fleet management software experience strongly preferred
• Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technicians Certification preferred
• CDL B with Airbrakes (or ability to obtain)
