Location: On-Site at our New Century, KS Plant

About the position

You will manage and control the maintenance function in the plant and be responsible for all equipment and technical issues. Management of the maintenance area includes resolving labor issues with the Maintenance employees; equipment breakdown repair, preventative and predictive maintenance; management and control of all maintenance costs, spare parts, stockroom organization and inventory. Additionally, you will be the plant expert for technical regulatory procedures and requirements at local, state or federal levels, including PSM. The function objective is to act as a support function to Production to minimize line downtime, assist with process and operation, and improve overall operational efficiency (OEE).In addition, you will also be responsible for the development, implementation and commissioning of capital projects on the site that are below the threshold to be managed by Engineering, such as infrastructure or like for like replacement. This will include all areas and all disciplines for project engineering, including contractor management on time and on budget.

You lead your team like a business owner by managing a safe working environment, accurately documents safety related training, and effectively communicates safety incidents, providing strategic input and oversight to departmental projects, making data driven decisions and developing sustainable solutions, reducing costs and managing timelines while prioritizing long run impact over short term wins, and putting our customers first. You will bring an innovative approach by continuously evaluating existing programs and processes, and developing new initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste, continues improvement. In all, you have a find a way atttidue and will empower others to be be great. In terms, of your work experience, having 5+ years of experience in engineering/maintenance leadership role paired with TPM/WCM and PSM will be a plus! Finally, you'll have to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and it will take hard work and determination; we will give you the ownership you need to make an impact.
