Maintenance Mechanic $33.90/hr Job at Morton Salt, Inc
Is responsible for installing, servicing, dismantling, rebuilding and maintaining all machinery and related equipment as it relates to the mechanical crafts
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoots breakdowns on any of the machines or equipment.
- Determines method of dismantling; repairs or replaces worn out or broken parts and reassembles.
- Works from machine assembly drawing, electrical schematics, sketches or blueprints
- Works to close accuracy and uses all types of mechanical tools which includes precision testing equipment.
- Also does some improvement work by changing present machines or building equipment to make present set-up more efficient
Experience
Required- Journeyman Card or Equivalent
- 5 year(s): Industrial
