Maintenance Shop Foreman
Job Description

Job Summary:

Kingsbury Companies is seeking a maintenance shop foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of our shop. In this role, you will supervise all shop personnel, oversee the management and maintenance of equipment, and ensure the efficiency of operations.
You will also be required to manage inventory and enforce company policies, and safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit and hire new shop employees (w/Corporate Resource Manager).
• Provide employee training.
• Create and manage the staff, maintenance, and work schedules.
• Warn, discipline, or terminate employees not working to company standards.
• Maintain work records and files.
• Maintain service truck and assigns all on-road repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Review work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
• Enforce all health and safety policies within the shop.
• Ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Inspect and clean shop equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Operate shop machineries such as forklifts or manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure that the shop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous materials.

Work Environment:

• Develop and foster a culture, work ethic, and team-building environment that supports the goals and policies of Kingsbury Companies.
• Shift may vary from day to evening.
• Weekend hours may be required.
• Standard 40-hour workweek applies, though overtime may be necessary.

Shop Foreman Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least five years’ experience as a shop foreman or similar (willing to work with the right person).
• A great understanding of work optimization techniques.
• Strong leadership abilities.

All pay will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
