Job Title: Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdown and resolving issues
- Continuously improve production operations
- Check for proper operating conditions
- Perform equipment maintenance and complete preventative maintenance work orders
- Repair any broken equipment
- Ability to communicate status of work activity and identify methods to perform activities safely, effectively, and efficiently
- Help in other areas of Maintenance as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to walk, climb, and move in tight spaces; frequently required to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, and controls; must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust vision focus; work is performed in a plant setting with moderate noise level in the working environment
Skills and Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of all equipment and facility operations
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of risk management and process safety management programs
- Mechanical abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of USDA, OSHA, and state guidelines
- Ability to read and write in English
