As a Maintenance Technician in our organization, you will not only work as a critical part of a team, but also work independently to accomplish objectives. You will manage a wide variety of maintenance projects, mechanical and electrical, to improve and optimize our operations.

*Candidates With Previous Experience in The Packaging and Manufacturing Industry Are Preferred*

Experience Required:

Minimum of two years of experience in similar role

Key Responsibilities

• Competencies Required:

  • 
    Proven Industrial Electrical and Mechanical skills are required
  • 
    Must be fully competent in all areas of Mechanical Skills, Pneumatic Skills, and Measurements
  • 
    Able to occasionally work weekends or overtime as scheduled or required
  • 
    Able to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or safety
  • 
    Prior experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment is required
  • 
    Prior experience with Controls, machine rebuilding, machining, and electrical work
  • 
    Must be advanced in all areas of Electrical (Hard Wire) Skills, PLC-Software programming skills
  • 
    Must have core competencies in all areas of Milling Machine/Lathe, General Machine Shop and Welding and working with High and Low Voltage (We provide ongoing training to help you grow and succeed!)
  • 
    Must have solid competencies in all areas of Safety, Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Project Management, Decision Making, and Organizing/Planning (Safety is a top priority!)
  • 
    Must be advanced in all areas of oral Communication, Written Communication, and Team Building/Participation – Stellar attendance and work ethic is not only required but will be rewarded
  • 
    Responds to calls after hours if needed (Company issued phone provided)

  
  Tools required:

  • 
    As an experienced technician, you are expected to provide and use your own tools. We will replace any tools damaged during work and will provide you with specialty tools as needed.

  
  Education and training:

  
  High School diploma or GED required. An associate degree in mechanical or Electronic, Electrical Field or Electrical Certificate is preferred.

Working Environment:

Your work will be done in a clean manufacturing facility which produces high quality packaging products for Pharmaceutical Companies. You may be required to lift up to 50lbs., bend, stoop, reach and walk short distances to complete job task. Use of proper personal safety equipment is required when in the manufacturing or warehouse areas, including but not limited to hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes.
